About
Amanda Turner
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Registered Nurse who holds a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria. I have over 25 years of experience working with youth, adults and families.
We all need support from time to time. I can help if you are experiencing challenges with: anxiety, depression, relationships, impacts of trauma, addictions, life transitions, parenting, LGBTQ2+, grief and loss, stress management, and chronic health concerns.
I work with both couples and families. I bring an extensive background of family work and training to my practice, with a particular focus on helping families navigate mental health concerns and life transitions.
Consulting & Education
I have worked as both an adult and youth educator in Middle Schools, High Schools, and Universities. I am available to provide consultation, education and training in a number of areas including eating disorders, childhood mental health and the impact of trauma.
